Therapeutic INUSpherese
Therapeutic INUSpherese® comprises various forms of extracorporeal removal of harmful, stressful substances from the blood by DFPP (double-filtration plasmapheresis). With INUSpherese® / blood purification we pursue several goals at once: We specifically wash disease- and inflammation-promoting substances out of the blood. In addition, each INUSpherese® reduces inflammatory mediators such as CRP or TNF-a. We also filter out malformed autoimmune antibodies. Against the worldwide rise in autoimmune diseases we therefore do not use side-effect-heavy "anti" drugs, but specifically remove their disease-promoting factors.
In addition, INUSpherese® has been shown to substantially improve blood flow in the arterioles and capillaries, the smallest terminal branches of the arteries.
This is where blood pressure is regulated and where key parts of substance exchange take place. Not only circulatory disorders such as coronary heart disease or reduced cerebral blood flow improve as a result; microcirculation in all internal organs is also increased. This improves nutrient and oxygen supply and at the same time allows metabolic waste products to be removed.
The "intelligent membrane"
INUSpherese® is not dialysis. The method does not specifically remove substances that would otherwise be excreted in urine, but a wide range of stressful factors. INUSpherese® uses intelligent filters that can specifically remove malformed autoimmune antibodies, inflammatory mediators, toxic substances bound to proteins or fats, and similar factors from the body.
LDL apheresis, which removes lipids/cholesterol such as lipoprotein(a), LDL and others from the circulation in patients with familial lipid disorders, has been a well-known, effective procedure for years. LDL cholesterol, the "bad cholesterol", plays a major role in atherosclerosis and heart disease and increases cardiac risk. It is now known, however, that many more risk factors amplify this effect or raise the risk of new disease and recurrence.
Over the past 10 years many triggers with this effect have been identified and analysed. These include chronic infections, chronic inflammation, autoimmune reactions and autoantibodies. Environmental influences are also increasingly suspected of playing a role in certain chronic diseases.
INUSpherese® has been reviewed, scientifically monitored and further developed by numerous physicians over decades. Evidence of efficacy can be provided individually for each patient. This can specifically show which disease-causing substances, and in what quantity, were removed from your body.
